Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a Mour.fit account or using the app at mour.fit, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Beta status

Mour.fit is currently in private beta. Features, pricing, plan names, and access rules may change before public launch. Account authentication is handled by the server. We may migrate beta data or reset beta-only features with notice before general availability.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• One human, one account. Don't share credentials.
• You must be 13 or older to register.
• We may suspend accounts for abuse, spam, or violation of these terms.

4. Acceptable use

Don't:

• Reverse engineer or attempt to break the service
• Scrape data, automate API requests beyond normal app use, or abuse rate limits
• Upload or post content that is harassing, threatening, or illegal
• Impersonate other users
• Use the service in a way that infringes anyone's IP, privacy, or other rights

5. Fitness disclaimer

Mour.fit is a fitness training app. It is not medical advice. Pull-up training (and especially weighted pull-up training and max-rep testing) carries inherent risk of injury. By using the app you acknowledge:

• You are physically able to perform the exercises shown, or have cleared them with a qualified healthcare professional.
• You assume all risk of injury arising from your training.
• You will stop immediately and seek medical attention if you feel sharp pain, especially in shoulders, elbows, wrists, or back.
• The app's recommendations are general; they are not personalized medical or physical-therapy advice.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of any data you put into the app. By using the app you grant us a limited license to store and process your data for the purpose of operating the service for you. If you opt in to the Pull-Up Study, you grant a separate, optional license to include your de-identified training stats in aggregate analysis. You can revoke this anytime.

7. Video submissions and coaching feedback

If you upload a form-check video or request coaching feedback, you grant us permission to store, view, and respond to that submission for coaching, support, safety, and service-improvement purposes. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share. Coaching feedback is general fitness guidance and is not medical care, physical therapy, or a diagnosis.

8. Trials, subscriptions, and paid access

During beta, some or all paid features may be unlocked for free. When paid access is enabled, Mour.fit may offer trials, recurring memberships, one-time coaching products, or complimentary owner-granted access. The price, billing period, renewal terms, and trial details shown at checkout control the purchase.

• Trials: Trial access may expire automatically. After a trial ends, some historical stats and reports may be unavailable unless you have an active paid or complimentary access period.
• Recurring billing: If you start a recurring membership, Stripe processes payments and manages payment methods. We do not store full card numbers.
• Cancellation: You can cancel future renewal through the billing portal when paid billing is active. Cancellation stops future charges but does not necessarily refund the current paid period.
• Refunds: Unless checkout says otherwise or law requires otherwise, completed subscription periods and delivered coaching services are not automatically refundable. If something went wrong, email info@mour.fit and we will review it in good faith.
• Account deletion: You may need to cancel active billing before deleting your account so future charges stop cleanly.

9. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but make no SLA guarantees during beta. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mour.fit and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation lost data, lost time, or training-related injury. Total aggregate liability shall not exceed USD $50 or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (whichever is greater). [Counsel review pending.]

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Mour.fit harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service or violation of these terms.

12. Termination

You can delete your account anytime, subject to any active billing cancellation step described above. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create security risk, abuse the service, or use the service unlawfully. On termination, your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be surfaced in-app and bumped in the version above.
